Best Brunch Spots in West Hollywood

Best Brunch Spots in West Hollywood

Since moving to sunny Southern California almost 5 years ago, West Hollywood has become my favorite spot for weekend brunch. There are so many fantastic restaurants to try with delicious food and amazing atmosphere. I have put together my list of top picks to check out for your next weekend brunch. Enjoy!

Joan’s On Third: This adorable marketplace and restaurant is the perfect spot for a brunch date. It definitely has a New York vibe with a busy deli and bakery. Order inside at the counter and join the seating waitlist out front. There aren’t too many large tables, which is why this popular brunch location is great for a party of two. The breakfast sandwiches and eggs Benedict are delicious and be sure to order one of their tasty coffee drinks. P.S. the Nutella Poundcake was one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. 😋

Yeastie Boys Bagel Truck at the Melrose Farmer’s Market: As a New Yorker, I appreciate a decent bagel in LA. This is my go-to spot to score a delicious bacon egg and cheese bagel on Sunday. The “Cheddy Wap” and “Game Over” sandwiches are my favorite. Order extra bagels to go and explore the Farmer’s Market for a relaxing morning in West Hollywood. The truck usually parks outside of Alfred’s coffee from 10am to 2pm, but double check their Instagram or Twitter for official schedule. The wait is usually about 20 minutes.

Blu Jam Café: This popular brunch destination is only open from 8am to 3pm daily, so expect extra yummy breakfast and lunch options. The line can be up to an hour long so I recommend booking on their Yelp waitlist before you go. The French Toast Churros are a must.

Urth: While there are a lot of Urth cafés throughout Los Angeles, I love the West Hollywood location. Situated between La Cienega and San Vicente, it is a great spot to people watch the WeHo crowd on Melrose. BTW their pastries are delicious, especially the Nutella Girella Buns and the chocolate cake.

King’s Road Cafe: I love this “no frills” diner because it is an easy and quick option for a great weekend meal. Their menu is super big and easy to find something for everyone. The service is always excellent and a reasonable price for West Hollywood.

Butcher Baker & Cappuccino Maker: Located on Sunset boulevard, this picturesque BBCM location is the perfect brunch spot for groups. The outdoor seating is super cute and trendy, shaded by a lovely tree. Make a reservation in advance on Open Table because you will most likely (still) have to wait. The Rainbow Latte is a staple and I loved the biscuits as well.

Taste on Melrose: This cute spot is located just off of La Cienega and perfect for a break after a workout class or shopping on Melrose. The restaurant has great indoor/outdoor seating with comfortable space for groups. Book this cozy brunch destination on Open Table to avoid a line and be sure to try one of their speciality weekend cocktails.
